Samuka
Samuel Henrique, professionally known as Bboy Samuka, is a Brazilian breakdancer renowned for his exceptional talent and inspiring journey. Born in Brasília, Brazil, Samuka aspired to become a soccer player until, at the age of 13, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his leg, leading to its amputation. During his recovery, he discovered breaking and found solace and purpose in dance, transforming adversity into an opportunity to inspire others.
Samuka's dedication and skill have earned him international recognition. In 2024, he captivated audiences as a contestant on Season 19 of "America's Got Talent," reaching the quarterfinals and finishing in the top five of his week. He is also a member of the renowned Ill-Abilities crew, a global collective of differently-abled dancers who performed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Samuka's achievements extend to the competitive breaking scene, securing second place at Outbreak Europe 2023. Through his performances, Samuka continues to challenge perceptions and demonstrate that perceived limitations can be redefined through passion and perseverance.
